Ground Breaking Toulon and Brownell

Dec 14, 2020

On Thursday, November 19, 2020 the Midland Marketing Board of Directors broke ground on the future expansions at our Toulon and Brownell sites.  The Board of Directors and Management are excited for the future of our locations.  Our producers are continuing to raise tremendous crops in our areas, and that puts a slight strain on our locations and staff to make sure we can store these commodities each year.  The board of directors along with the Management team see the need to expand in each of our trade territories to make sure that all our customers have a place to store their crops.
Our Toulon location will begin its expansion project in December.  We will be adding, 950,000-bushel McPherson Concrete bins.  There will be a new leg and scale to help with efficiency and flow of traffic for the customers of Toulon.  Contractors for the Toulon expansion are as follows, McPherson Concrete, HABCO INC., and Hammeke Electric.  Plans are to have this expansion project completed for wheat harvest of 2021
We will begin work on our Brownell Location in December also.  We will be adding a 444,000-bushel McPherson Bin.  Contractors for this expansion project will be McPherson Concrete, Reif Welding and Construction, and Kramer Electric.  Plans are to have this new expansion ready for wheat harvest of 2021.
